WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

01

PRESENT TENSE

The present tense is a verb tense used to describe a current activity or state of being.

However, somewhat unusually, the present tense can also be used to describe past and future activities.

02

PAST TENSE

The past tense of verbs expresses events or actions that already occurred.

These actions are finite in that they have both a starting and a stopping point.

03

FUTURE TENSE

The future tense of verbs expresses events or actions that have not yet happened and that will happen at some point in the future.

HOW TO USE IT IN SENTENCES?

The present tense is used to talk about the present and to talk about the future.

There are four forms of present tense:

PRESENT TENSE

Present Simple

Subject (third person singular number) + verb in simple present form + s/es + . . . . .

Present Perfect
